A little known fact about Sunayana (who is currently seen in the serial Santaan on Star Plus) is that besides being a good actress, she is also a trained Kathak dancer!!!Her dancing streak is quite evident in the music videos that she has done in the past. Bappi Lahiri’s Gori Hai Kalaiyan, which catapulted her to stardom, was followed by an appearance in the Bollywood film “Corporate” in a song sequence titled Zindagi Ke Maje Lele.

“Ever since I can remember I have a thing for dancing. I even took up dance classes, to further hone my talent, from celebrated choreographers like Shiamak Davar, Terrence Lewis and Bosco Ceaser. Besides, I have traveled extensively to most of the places in India and abroad courtesy-dance shows!!! Well, if an interesting offer comes my way I would not mind sweating it out, and show my smart moves,winks the pretty actress.

Learning dance moves from the best in the industry will certainly be worth watching!!!

Sunayana, who essays the character of Namrata in Santaan, does not mind mixing pleasure with work as she strongly believes in all work and no play makes Jill a dull girl! The actors do not experience phone-fatigue as the place where they shoot is quite inaccessible-the network goes for a toss! So, to kill the work related stress, Sunayana and her co-stars let their hair down - eat, drink and play games whenever they have some time-off during the shoots.

Sunayana says, “All my co- stars are very lively and fun loving people and they can’t sit idle in between the shoots. We don’t keep to ourselves - unless someone is having severe mood swings, laughs the feisty gal. At times when we have some sphere time whilst shooting, we rejuvenate ourselves by chilling out and then we don’t find our job to be a bother.”
