It was an outright hit when it hit the small screen and now its back again, setting the record of being the fastest second season of any television show. The satirical comedy show Remote Control from Hats Off Productions is all set to kick off from the first week of September. The show starring Deven Bhojani, Supriya Pathak, Mansi Parekh and Jay Soni in the main lead will also be introducing Benaf or better known as Baby from Baa Bahu Aur Baby in a complete glamourous avatar. Other new entrant to the show is Sooraj Thapar.

The first season of Remote Control was lauded by the audience that the television channel airing the show and the production house were pressurized to bring it back owing to public demand. And this time it has also progressed from becoming a weekly hour to by-weekly hour show.

Commenting on the increasing pressure and expectation, producer JD Majethia says, “We are over-joyed with the response the first season got and no other show has returned with a season 2 so quickly on TV and also made it bi-weekly hour. Now our schedules are more and we have to do better than the first as well.”

Last week saw the entire telly industry barge into a particular venue in Khar and it was for no simple reason. Afterall actress Dipsshikha was celebrating her birthday at H20 on Wednesday (20th August)night. Dressed in white, she stood out among the guests and was seen beaming and talking away continuously to friends and family.

The unending herd of celebrities that poured in were producer JD Majethia with wife Nipa, Aatish Kapadia and Deven Bhojani, NIsha Jamval, Sonia Kapoor, Amit Behl with wife Vaibhavi, Ashish Roy, Mink with her mother, producer Manish Goswami, Poonam Dhillon, Sooraj Thapar, Vivek Agnihotri with wife Pallavi Joshi, Dr.Santram Varma, designer Kawaljeet with choreographer Pony Varma and many more.

With Chinese starters and unlimited drinks doing the rounds, the guests were seen having one ball of a time. The venue that was divided over three floors started falling short with the galore of guests pouring in to wish the birthday girl but all were seen enjoying themselves to the hilt.
