Come Monday June 30, 2008 and Indian families will experience complete family entertainment on SAB with the launch of “LO HO GAYI POOJA ISS GHAR KI”,

India’s first daily family comedy. The show will air every day between Monday-Thursday at 9:00 pm (2100 hrs IST).

Commenting on the new launch, Mr. Anooj Kumar – Business Head, SAB said, “Comedy is something that can be shared by one and all. ‘Lo Ho Gayi Pooja Iss Ghar Ki’ adds to our rib tickling comedy shows like “Yes Boss” and “F.I.R”. SAB is repositioning as a complete comedy channel and we intend to cut across all the age groups. There is damage caused to Indian social fabric by the negativism of SAAS Bahoo sagas. We want the viewers would find the much needed relief from the negative emotions shown in soaps and the violent sensational news shown across news channels. Our new show will definitely bind the family by a simple thread of humour”.

The story revolves around ‘Pooja’, a young girl from small town who has big dreams and doesn’t want to be pinned down to normal obligations of the society. She wants to be the nations biggest singer, herdreams seem to get crushed when her parents decide to get her married. She runs away from home and ends up in the ‘Lal’ family in Mumbai in the disguise of a cook. Her attempts to hide her identity and at the same time trying to cook results in confusion and comic mayhem in lives of all the family members. Each episode shows ‘Pooja’ in new light winning the hearts of family members with her bubbly innocence and warm heartedness. She solves problems with seemingly light but very meaningful solutions which is nicknamed as ‘Poojagiri’ by the family.
