After successfully co-hosting the popular wedding reality show, Star Vivah, on Star Plus, lovely Addite Shirwakar has taken a sabbatical. For now, she will take a rain check on sweets and calorie laden food! The lovely lass who seem to have piled on want to pull down and get back to her original lean self. For a much-conscious Addite, her focus now is to shed the ‘excess baggage’ that she has recently put on.

We got in touch with Addite, who said,” Now that I have time on hand I’m watching my diet, and religiously practise yoga. Mohit gives me company during the yoga sessions. I really enjoyed my stint as a host for both Star Paarivar and Star Vivah, and I would love to present more of such shows”.

Jodi no 6, of Nach Baliye 4, Mohit Malik and Addite Shirwakar got the bolt from the blue, when their name was announced in the elimination round. This came as a shock, since they were doing quite well all this while and no one expected that their journey in the show would end just yet. Being non-dancers, both Addite and Mohit had given their best so far. Regardless of a serious knee injury, Addite continued working hard to master the dance moves.

Apparently the couple is getting a lot of e-mails from all over, re-confirming whether this is for real or simply hearsay! Surely it’s very touching for the couple to receive such thoughtful mails. For those who are wondering what the couple is upto? Well fret not, you can catch Mohit in Dulhan and Addite is taking some time off till something interesting comes  her way.

It is rumoured Jodi no 6 of Nach Baliye 4, Mohit Malik and Addite Shirwakar, who are apparently going quite strong, will soon be out of the dance reality show. Mohit Malik’s beau Addite Shirwakar is weathering a major hiccup, as she injured her knee badly and is seemingly a little passive due to the restricted movement.

Addite says, “I have hurt my left knee badly and this is making me very restless. After our kathakali performance my left knee was in severe pain. I’m religiously going to the physiotherapist and hoping that I become fine real soon. As far as the rumors are concerned, both I and Mohit have no intention of quitting Nach. With Mohit taking good care of me and we enjoying every bit, I guess that pretty much explains that we are in no mood to back out!!!

Addite Shirwakar, who has so far played very positive, jovial and girl next door type of characters, is for the first time playing- a married woman’s role. And she simply loves it!! Addite, who is playing Milli’s character in Kumkum, finally gets married to Gaurav, courtesy Kumkum. Earlier in the show, her engagement was called off thrice and the fourth time she finally gets hitched!!! Addite, is loving her new Indian look, as she gets to wear Sari, Vermillion and Bangles!!!!

A visibly thrilled Addite says, “I have never played something like this before, it’s quite different and unlike me. I play a conventional daughter-in-law’s role, who is very giving and selfless. Besides, the new traditional and ethnic look that I’m depicting these days is like a breather after playing similar roles in the past.”
