Looks like it’s not without a reason they are called the people’s favourite jodi! Aamir Ali and Sanjeeda Sheikh are back again on Nach Baliye 4, not as anchors this time but to perform on a dance number in the show.

Needless to say, when this couple put on their dancing shoes, the stage is bound to be on fire!  The winners of the previous season performed on Dil Hara Re from Tashan and once again had the crowd grooving mad to their moves. Infact this impressive performance happened to be as good as their final performance from last year with audiences cheering much after the dance was over with.

And surely the issues with the channel also seems to have taken a back seat with their return in this episode that is to be aired on Saturday. “Yes, we did perform on Nach Baliye on Monday. There are no issues between the channel and us. As I said earlier, Nach is special to me and I will always be more than happy to be associated with it.” says Aamir Ali.

Currently on the work front, Aamir seems to be taking a well deserved break while beau Sanjeeda is back with the previous show. “I am taking it slow and enjoying the break from work. But Sanjeeda has returned with Kayaamath once again. Infact she is already shooting and the first episode is going to be telecast soon too.” quipped Aamir.

Fans of the very famous and much adored couple Aamir Ali and Sanjeeda Sheikh have some good news. For the first time this couple will be seen sharing the same screen space on television. After been shown killed in Kayaamath in which she essayed the character of Ayesha, Sanjeeda is all set to join Aamir in the television serial Kya Dill Main Hain on 9X from 23rd of this month.

Apart from seen as the hit jodi in Nach Baliye3, this couple ironically haven’t ever worked with each other prior to this, besides a brief cameo in Kis Des Main Hain Mera Dil. When asked in detail why she chose to take up the show, here’s what Sanjeeda had to say, “Firstly needless to say because of Aamir, secondly its Balaji’s own show and Ekta has always given me great characters till date, so I was sure if she thought I was fit for this, then I had to do it and lastly I play a completely positive character which is what I wanted to do after Kayaamath.”

In the show, Sanjeeda will be seen playing the character of Naina, a lawyer by profession, but a fun-loving, free spirited and ambitious young woman.

Their presence in the same serial will surely be a treat for the famous couple’s fans. When mostly on television, on screen jodi’s go on to become off screen jodi’s, here’s one couple who have been going around for quite some time but have never displayed their chemistry on screen. But there is still some wait for that as Sanjeeda explains, “We are just working in the same show, but are not seen as a couple. Maybe later if the track shapes up with us being paired together, audiences will see our chemistry on screen. But I’m sure we will be great together. Till then it will be just nice to be working on the same sets and having a hassle free time.” beams Sanjeeda.

Well if nothing, this sure is going to be an audience puller for the show!

After Sanjeeda Sheikh winning the prestigious Natraj in Saroj Khan’s dance show Nachleve with Saroj Khan on NDTV Imagine, its was time for beau Aamir Ali to follow suit and win the Natraj too. The couple after winning hearts in Nach Baliye 3, had gone as celebrity contestants on the show recently. While Sanjeeda won it a little earlier, Aamir was not far behind and will be seen winning the award in the upcoming episodes.

A much more elated Sanjeeda says, “It was so cool when Aamir won. I was hoping he would. It’s even more special as I have always had a dancing streak, but Aamir had to start from scratch and he has successfully come a long way. I am really proud of him.”

Guess when it comes to dance based competitions, victory just comes naturally to them!
