Star Plus and Hats Off Productions’ Behenein achieves an enormous feat as it completes 100 episodes this week. Entire Star cast and crew of Behenein got together to commemorate the achievement. The whole team celebrated it with a small party that had cake-cutting.

It was a memorable day for the entire unit since the show has gathered lots of popularity in such a short span of time. Aalesha Khan, Sudeep Sahir, Adaa Khan, Manoj Mishra along with the other cast and crew members cut the cake on their sets at Naigaon. The unit and cast are going through a hectic schedule as of now, but plans to party hard whenever they get time.

The show debuted small screen on 8th February, 2010 on Star Plus and since then the TRPs are rising. Well we wish many more happy days for the entire unit of Behenein….

Set in rural Rajasthan “Balika Vadhu” traces the arduous journey of child bride Anandi from brink of childhood to womanhood. ‘Balika Vadhu’ very sensitively portrays the plight of children who are unwittingly forced into marriage in the name of tradition and have to bear the repercussions for the rest of their lives. Balika Vadhu not only propelled fortunes of the channel, but gave Sphere Origins a firm recognition.

The round of auditions chose 24 ‘riders’, beginning with online auditions moving on to group discussions and personal interviews on ground. These ‘riders’ then went on to the next level ‘Ride with Rannvijay’ and performed the toughest tasks from the past 6 seasons. For the first time in Roadies history, 10 riders will be eliminated before the journey kicks off, purely based on their performance. The Roadies concert will now announce the final 14 that have moved from being ‘riders’ to ‘roadies’!
