Pulsar MTV Stunt Mania Reloaded

Says hostess Anushkha, ‎”I’m super kicked about being a part of such an exciting show. The experiences I’ve had shooting this show along with Allan Amin have been phenomenal. I love adventure and have just started biking… and I’ve learnt some awesome stunts myself. This is going to be a killer season!

Allan Amin who was a part of the first season as well says, “The first season was about contestants testing themselves on their vigor and valor and about getting acquainted to their bikes. In the second season the contestants, now after having mastered the art of stunt biking are all ready to take on the Himalayan Challenge. So get ready for some spine chilling stunts!”

In its 2nd season, MTV presented auditions for Stunt Mania Reloaded, with the Stunt Mania ‘Rockathon’ - India’s first Bike and Rock Festival. After a rigorous selection process, 12 contestants and 4 squad leaders were selected for the ultimate biking face-off! With teams like ‘Black Demon’, ‘Real Pychos’, Silver Psychedelics’ and ‘Fire Dragons’, Stunt Mania Reloaded is all set to take reality television to the next level. Tasks that have been braved by the contestants range from ‘Pulsar Rafting’ where a fast deflating raft carries the squad leader, while the riders need to face land mines and rapids, even to the famous ‘maut ka kua’.

In its 1st season, this heart pounding 8-part series had 12 of India’s most passionate bikers perform stunts on their Pulsars to face–off in true reality TV format and in front of a live audience. Every episode, the rider with the least marks got eliminated and the remaining would go on to compete for the chance to be crowned the Stunt God and a chance to train with the best in the world! With Stunt Mania Reloaded this year, MTV hopes to reinvent and surpass its own excellent brand of reality television programming and once again prove that it’s the only destination for the youth to prove themselves.

The MTV Mad House announced the admissions for its fresh crop of patients. Yes, MTV is looking for a brand new bunch of mad VJs! The Idea MTV VJ Hunt is on, and if you think you have a personality that can keep people glued to their TV sets, here’s your big chance to prove it. MTV is looking VJs who can take MTV beyond Music and beyond Television. Kick-starting the auditions in Mumbai on 5th December, the Mad House hunters will round up the contenders from Chandigarh, Delhi, Lucknow, Kolkata and Bangalore on 8th, 11th, 14th, 18th, and 21st December respectively.

The auditions would be held at ‘MTV Studios-Parel’ in Mumbai on 5th December, ‘Punjab Kala Bhavan-Sector 16’ in Chandigarh on 8th December, ‘British Council’ in New Delhi on 11th December, ‘Lal Bahadur Shastri Auditorium’ in Lucknow on 14th December, ‘Bhawanipore College’ in Kolkata on 18th December and ‘St. Joseph’s Indian High School’ in Bengaluru on 21st December.

After going though thousands of profiles in the audition phase, the shortlist would be down to 100 contestants. These shortlisted contestants will be made to do various tasks over 3 weeks on mtvindia.com. Based on their performance, the list would be brought down to 10. The 10 finalists will compete on-air by hosting various MTV shows in the VJ Hunt Week, open to public voting. The Hunt would culminate with a grand on-air finale where the winners of the Idea MTV VJ Hunt 2009 would be announced.
