EMI Music Launch - EMI Songs
For the first time in the history of the Indian film industry, the music launch of a film had been conceptualized as a televised event. The event was hosted by Seemanto Roy of Sahara One Motion Pictures, Ekta Kapoor of Balaji Motion Pictures Ltd and Suniel Shetty of Popcorn Motion Pictures Pvt Ltd, at the Intercontinental Grand in the suburbs. With some mind blowing performances by the stars this event was one grand affair and thronged by artists from Bollywood and few from television.
Seemanto Roy came in with beautiful wife Chandni Roy while Suniel Shetty played the perfect host, taking care of his guests and talking to the media. The compeers of the evening Rakshanda Khan and Sunil Pal were keeping the entire crowd in splits and entertaining to the hilt. Jeetendra was seen alongwith daughter Ekta while Tusshar Kapoor came straight from his shoots. Sanjay Dutt was accompanied by Manyata and were seen enjoying the function.
There was a continuous round of performances by various artists like Urmila Matondkar, Malaika Arora Khan, Dino Morea, Silk Route band and debut music director Chirantan Bhatt. A pregnant Samita Bangargi who joined later was evidently glowing and cheering when Ashish Chowdhary was performing with Neha Oberoi. Arjun Rampal was cheering his co-actors. The director of the movie Saurab Kabra was visibly excited, being a big day for him.
The sensational music is composed by Chirantan Bhatt with lyrics from Sarin Momin & Hamza Faruqui, and a dynamic list of singers. The music rights are with T Series and the dances have been choreographed Bosco, Ceasar, Harshal and Vithal.
The episode is to be aired soon on Star Plus. The peppy EMI Title track has been rendered by Sanjay Dutt, supported by Suzan, Earl, and Mahalaxmi Iyer. The song ‘Aaja’ is crooned by Shaan with backing Vocals by Suzan and Rishi. Mohit Chauhan has rendered his voice for the track in Baithe Rahe.
