A.R. Rahman to actively promote a friends film?

A.R. Rahman’s love for privacy is well known, and so also his shyness from the media. So it’s a surprise to learn that Rahman is expected to take part in the promotions of a new film Ada…a way of life.
Ada marks the 100th film in A. R. Rahman’s career but that’s not the reason why Rahman is willing to participate in this film’s promotion. As per Bollywood news it is believed that the director Tanvir Ahmad and Rahman share a special bonding. This is the reason that last year Rahman flew down to Bombay all the way from Chennai just for a few hours when Tanvir Ahmad’s son Ayaan was to be introduced to the media for the very first time.
Though the director remained unavailable for comment a source close to the family confirmed that a request has been sent to Rahman and there is a good chance that Rahman will oblige this time too.
